The Countdown Begins

You are an astronaut aboard the ship SOLASTRA, barreling through the universe at near light-speed. You're all alone, with only the sterile comforts of your ship, communications from back home, and your thoughts to occupy your time. An infinite void surrounds you, and a similar void lingers within you. In seven days, you will reach your destination. What will happen by then?

An Art Piece for the Game Boy

SOLASTRA is a cinematic, story-driven art piece for the Game Boy. Featuring subtle story-telling and world-building; beautiful, atmospheric visuals; thematic, dynamic music; and an interpretive, emotional story that gives meaning to how you play, SOLASTRA is a game that has been carefully and lovingly crafted to be an impactful and lasting experience.

Really enjoyed my first playthrough, now I'm gonna try to open that door. If I do some things on specific days, will I notice that it triggered something o will It show only on the last day, when the door opens or not?

Thanks for playing! Yes, it will only show on the last day when the door opens. Let me know if you need any help. So far it seems like people have been able to figure it out, but I'm no expert at making puzzles, ha, so don't feel bad if you need a hint or something

Can you include the manual as well?

I don't currently have a manual, but what is it you need help with?

Oh nothing I just thought that since there was a physical on homebrew factory that there was a manual.

My DIY cartridge for your game with my gameboys

Ha sweet, I used to have the atomic purple gbc too

Really enjoyed playing through this late night, over the weekend once the household was asleep. My set up was the rom, through Delta, pushed to my tv. Love the photographic art and cut scenes. Just ace.

Want to do it on a DMG now

Man, thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it

holy moly, getting that door open took a lot of thinking. I’m not great at cryptic puzzles, but wow, that kept me thinking. I wasn’t sure if things done on a particular day had a flow on effect. But now I know. What was in there was unexpected and really cool.
Again, rad game

Man, thanks so much for taking the time to figure it out and not giving up! Glad the end result was worth it, ha. Thanks for playing!

I've used my last empty cart for writing Your game on it.

And it worst it :-)

Is there only one ending? And I didn't opened one door.. Did I missed something?

There are clues you find on the last day! If you play again and do the right things, it'll unlock the door

Just found how many content I've missed for first play.

Second play wasn't good enough but I've found my mistakes in it already.

I'm strongly recommend replay this game several times!

Cool, let me know if you figure out how to open the door!

Closed door is closed for me still :)

I'll give you a hint: there's another room that you're able to enter only on the last day. It has a poster on the wall that has a riddle to solving the puzzle

Love this little gem!!! Any chance for us to get a sequel? Or another space adventure point and click type? :)

Thanks for playing! Probably no sequel for this one, but I definitely see making something new down the road! I'm thinking of trying GBC next, and I have a few ideas floating around

What a cozy little game. Looking forward to curling up to it this weekend. Couple questions. Is there a way to pause? And does sleeping save?

Thanks again. Looks great on the chromatic

There's no way to pause, but the game is divided into days (sort of like chapters) that you can access from the main menu if you select "return". Each day ends when you decide to go to bed, which you can do whenever you feel like you've seen everything there is to see. Those would probably function best as stopping points if you want to break up your playthrough. Also, feel free to send a pic of the game on your chromatic! I love seeing everyone's setup

thanks for the reply!  And I’m torn on what pallet to use. I wish you success with this charming little game.

ha sweet. I like the blue one, personally

supposedly the gray scale

looking cool on your Chromatic. I would also choose for blue, it looks more spacey :)
