Understanding the total amount invested in your marketing and the total return. Using a creative strategy to get the best results, costs & clicks for different buyers, fuelled by what triggers them to buy. Analysis of what’s working, how people buy and what they do next, across multiple channels. Being clear on your capacity to fulfil demand for your products and to build customer retention and loyalty. Always adapting and learning and being open to new ways of growing, whether it’s new channels, markets or products. What you can’t control: Platform costs, which have been rising as advertising becomes more competitive and automation has increased output. I dunno who needs to hear this but... A good content strategy is somewhat repetitive. There's only so much you can say about what you do, what your ideal client looks like, and what your industry hot takes are. AND THAT'S OK! The key to building a brand is repetition. Because as you grow, new people start interacting with your content. And if you're focused on pumping out *fresh and new* takes all the time, your brand doesn't have legs to stand on. You have to be known for something, then repeat the heck out of yourself to STAY known for that thing. Repetition sounds boring, but it's really the basis for your brand. And I'm not saying that you have to post the same exact words. The whole point of being a memorable person online is saying the same underlying message in new ways that resonate with different people. But at it's core? Your messaging should basically rest on a few core pillars.
